  • Validate training materials against Epic build, organizational policies, and clinical workflows to ensure accuracy and readiness.
  • Develop scenario-based and simulation training to reflect real-world oncology workflows.

Clinical Informatics & Workflow Integration

  • Partner with clinical leaders, operational stakeholders, and Epic analysts to document, analyze, and optimize oncology workflows.
  • Serve as a liaison between end users and IT/Epic teams to ensure workflow alignment within system design and training.
  • Participate in workflow design sessions, validation exercises, and user acceptance testing activities.
  • Identify gaps between current and future-state workflows and recommend process and system improvements.

    • Clinical equipment training integration
    • Policy and procedure education
    • Simulation-based learning and case scenarios
  • Ensure training programs support both initial go-live and ongoing operational readiness.

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Partner with oncology leadership, nursing, pharmacy, research teams, revenue cycle, and Epic/IS teams to align workflows, system build, and education strategy.
  • Facilitate cross-functional workshops and working sessions to ensure shared understanding of workflows and system usage.
  • Support change management efforts by reinforcing adoption of standardized workflows and clinical best practices.
  • Act as a key contributor in aligning education strategy with organizational informatics goals.

Learning Management System (LMS) Support

  • Manage course assignments, enrollment, tracking, and completion reporting within the LMS.
  • Monitor training compliance, competency validation, and organizational readiness metrics.
  • Develop dashboards and reports to support leadership visibility into training progress and readiness status.

Go-Live & Stabilization Support

  • Support go-live readiness planning, including training completion tracking and workflow validation.
  • Provide at-the-elbow support during activation and go-live events.
  • Assist in issue identification, triage, and coordination with clinical and IT support teams.
  • Continue post-go-live engagement through stabilization (anticipated through several months post-activation), addressing workflow refinement, training gaps, and adoption challenges.
