Drafting Technologist - Energy


who has experience in the Legal Oil/Gas Survey sector and has the desire to grow and learn with an innovative, forward-thinking company.


The Work:


  • Drafting/calculations of well site, pipeline, dig site, as-built, and legal plans
  • Creation of clean and professional-looking deliverables
  • Ability to work with field crews and Project Leads to understand job scope and deliver professional products to Connexa's clients
  • Quality Control of field data and calculations
  • Understanding of Land Survey drawings and Western Canadian Land Tenure system
  • Ability to work unsupervised from home using CORE's virtual system


What you bring to the table:


  • Strong focus on relationships, both internal and external to Connexa
  • The desire for excellence in all that you do
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to liaise with clients and coworkers
  • Creativity
  • Experience with Civil 3D and/or AutoCAD Map
  • A degree/diploma from a Technical College or University in Geomatics
  • Five years of experience in legal oilfield surveys
  • Experience with construction surveying would be an asset
  • Experience working with Land Surveys
