About the Role

If you love turning complex technology into clear, compelling solutions, this could be your kind of role. As Director, Solutions Consulting, you’ll support BCD M&E’s Technology-focused client opportunities by shaping smart, scalable solutions across proprietary platforms, third-party tools, AI, automation, and analytics. You’ll partner across sales, account management, marketing, operations, and technology teams to connect client goals with real business value. It’s a high-impact role for someone who can move easily between strategy, storytelling, and solution design.

You’re Good At

• Translating business needs into practical, scalable technology solutions in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment
• Leading client-facing discovery sessions, presentations, demos, and proposal support with confidence and clarity
• Explaining technical capabilities in business-friendly language and tailoring recommendations to client goals, budget, and timelines
• Collaborating cross-functionally with sales, account management, marketing, operations, and technology teams to drive alignment and results
• Navigating ambiguity, balancing multiple priorities, and bringing structure to complex opportunities
  
  

You Might Also Have

• Experience in sales engineering, solutions consulting, technology consulting, or a similar client-facing role with strong technology themes
• Familiarity with AI, automation, analytics, and reporting tools and how they can improve performance and customer outcomes
• A commercial mindset that connects solution recommendations to growth, efficiency, and measurable value
• Foundational knowledge of agency planning support, including strategic meetings management, venue sourcing, event planning, and registration technologies
• The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Travel requirements for this role are as follows:25% to 50% 

We carefully consider a wide range of compensation factors, including your professional background and experience. The salary range for candidates in applicable jurisdictions in the US for the position of Director, Solutions Consulting  is between $100,000 - $125,000. The actual pay depends on your skills, qualifications, experience, geographical location, and project budget.
