AI Summary

The Director of Product Marketing will lead clinician-facing marketing, including positioning, messaging, and employer branding. They will orchestrate recruitment marketing campaigns and manage cross-functional collaborations to drive clinician growth and pipeline development.

Talkiatry is seeking a Director of Product Marketing to lead clinician-facing marketing for our growing team. Clinician marketing at Talkiatry serves three core functions: (1) Own the positioning, messaging, and employer brand for Talkiatry's clinician audience. (2) Own clinician research and represent the voice of the clinician across our key clinical audiences, serving as the marketing team's liaison to Operations, Clinical, and Product teams. (3) Orchestrate the recruitment marketing that brings qualified mental health clinicians to Talkiatry, spanning demand generation and the channels that reach them.

Reporting to the VP of Product Marketing, you'll act as the primary conductor for clinician-facing marketing across the company. This is a senior individual contributor role in which you'll manage external agencies, contractors, and media partners to extend the team's reach, and collaborate closely with cross-functional partners across Talkiatry, including Talent Acquisition, Operations, Clinical, Creative, and other Marketing teams. You'll own and scale an established clinician marketing function, building the positioning, employer brand, and demand-generation engine that fuel Talkiatry's clinical growth.

The ideal candidate is a strategic product marketer with deep expertise in positioning, messaging, and audience research, paired with hands-on experience owning marketing channels. They know how to turn audience insight into a differentiated value proposition and employer brand, and they can orchestrate recruitment marketing to deliver a qualified pipeline. They have a track record of managing agency and contractor relationships and using data to drive strategy.

About Talkiatry

Talkiatry is transforming mental health care by making high-quality psychiatry more accessible, human, and sustainable for both patients and clinicians. Co-founded by a patient and a triple-board-certified psychiatrist, we were built to solve one of healthcare’s most urgent challenges: millions of people struggle to access mental health care, while clinicians face growing administrative burden and burnout. Through our technology-powered, in-network platform, we’re changing that, creating a better experience for patients and empowering clinicians to focus on delivering exceptional care.

Today, Talkiatry is the largest dedicated psychiatry practice in the U.S., with 750+ psychiatrists, 250+ therapists, and more than two million patient visits delivered nationwide. At our scale, every innovation has real impact. Every workflow we improve, every technology solution we build, and every patient experience we redesign helps thousands of clinicians provide better care to hundreds of thousands of patients. We’re not just growing quickly — we’re redefining how behavioral healthcare is delivered in America.

Joining Talkiatry means joining a mission-driven team that is solving complex problems at scale, driving meaningful change in healthcare, and building the future of mental health care with compassion, innovation, and purpose.

You will:

  • Develop and own Talkiatry's clinician positioning, messaging, and employer value proposition, differentiating Talkiatry in a highly competitive market for mental health talent.

  • Own and evolve Talkiatry's employer brand across our key clinician audiences.

  • Represent the voice of the clinician by conducting and synthesizing both quantitative and qualitative research across clinician personas, ensuring insights inform marketing and talent strategy.

  • Orchestrate recruitment marketing campaign planning and execution across clinician roles, from awareness through completed application, partnering closely with Talent Acquisition on shared funnel and volume goals.

  • Own and grow key clinician marketing channels, including the career site, our LinkedIn and Glassdoor presence, and clinician CRM and lifecycle programs.

  • Drive demand generation across paid and organic channels, including web, Doximity, LinkedIn, and Indeed, to deliver a qualified pipeline of clinician applicants.

  • Enable the Talent Acquisition team with messaging, materials, and audience insight that help recruiters match the right story to the right candidate.

  • Manage external agencies, contractors, and media partners across content, creative, and paid media to extend team capacity and execute against our hiring targets.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Talent Acquisition, Operations, Clinical, and Creative to optimize the candidate journey and integrate clinician-focused initiatives into broader marketing efforts and storytelling.

  • Partner with Marketing teams to create clinician-facing materials, including landing pages, emails, recruiting collateral, and thought leadership content.

  • Track and analyze recruitment marketing metrics such as applicant volume, cost per qualified applicant, and conversion to hire, using data-driven insights to inform spend and GTM priorities.

You have:

  • 10+ years of product marketing or consumer marketing experience, including ownership of business critical launches and multi-stakeholder GTM initiatives. Candidates with 8+ years of exceptional, directly relevant experience will also be considered.

  • Deep expertise in positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategy, with a track record of turning audience research into clear, differentiated value propositions.

  • Strong audience research and insight skills, both quantitative and qualitative, with the ability to represent an audience's voice across the business.

  • Hands-on experience owning and operating marketing channels (for example, web and career site, organic social, CRM and lifecycle, or paid media).

  • Experience marketing to healthcare provider or clinician audiences preferred. Familiarity with how clinicians evaluate practice opportunities is an advantage but not a requirement.

  • Exceptional storytelling and communication skills, with the ability to distill complex topics into clear, consumer-friendly messages.

  • Demonstrated experience leveraging AI tools for audience and content insights, content production, and workflow automation.

  • Strong analytical abilities, capable of synthesizing data to drive strategy and improve marketing performance.

  • Collaborative and adaptable, able to navigate cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities effectively, including working directly with Talent Acquisition and other field teams.

  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
