Director of Delivery Management

Position Summary

The Director, Delivery Management leads the Delivery Management team within the Product Delivery department. This role is responsible for setting the overall delivery strategy, owning department-level accountability for estimation, requirements, and end-to-end delivery execution. The Director serves as the primary liaison between the Delivery Management team and executive stakeholders, ensuring alignment across all products and programs. 

Key Responsibilities

• Define and govern the delivery management strategy, frameworks, and standards across all products and workstreams 
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Senior Delivery Managers, Delivery Managers, and Delivery Analysts 
• Own executive-level stakeholder relationships, providing delivery status, risk assessment, and strategic recommendations 
• Establish estimation standards and quality gates for requirements documentation across the team 
• Drive continuous improvement in delivery processes, tooling, and reporting 
• Partner with product, engineering, and business leadership to align delivery priorities with organizational goals 
• Oversee resource planning, capacity management, and team growth 
• Escalation point for delivery risks, blockers, and cross-team dependencies 

Qualifications 

• 10+ years of experience in delivery management, program management, or a related field 
• 3+ years of people leadership experience managing multi-level teams 
• Proven track record of delivering complex, cross-functional programs on time and within scope 
• Strong executive communication skills with demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders 
• Experience establishing delivery frameworks and governance processes 
• PMP, SAFe, or equivalent certification preferred 
• Experience with Agile, Scrum, and/or Waterfall delivery methodologies
