About DISA Uranium

DISA Uranium is building a differentiated U.S. uranium platform focused on expanding domestic uranium production and processing capacity. The company’s strategy combines conventional uranium assets, recovery of uranium from legacy mine waste, and the development of new domestic processing infrastructure.

Following its recent acquisition of a portfolio of U.S. uranium assets from IsoEnergy and significant institutional and strategic financing, DISA Uranium is actively pursuing opportunities to expand its resource base and build a leading U.S. uranium company.

The Role

DISA Uranium is seeking a Director of Corporate Development to support the evaluation and execution of strategic growth opportunities across the uranium sector.

This is a multidisciplinary role at the intersection of geology, mining, strategy and transactions. The successful candidate will have a strong technical understanding of mining projects — preferably with a background in geology — combined with commercial experience evaluating assets and transactions.

The Director will play a key role in determining where DISA Uranium deploys capital, helping evaluate and prioritize acquisition, investment, joint venture and other strategic opportunities across a growing pipeline.

The role will report to the Chief Commercial Officer and work closely with DISA Uranium’s technical, operating, finance and executive teams.

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is not purely a geologist and not purely a finance professional. We are looking for someone who can operate effectively between DISA Uranium’s technical and commercial teams — someone capable of understanding what makes a uranium resource or mining project technically compelling while also thinking critically about valuation, transaction structure, strategic fit and risk.

The successful candidate will be intellectually curious, commercially minded and comfortable digging into the underlying technical work, forming an independent view and turning that analysis into actionable recommendations.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Screen, evaluate and prioritize potential acquisitions, investments, joint ventures and strategic partnerships across the uranium sector.
  • Lead the technical and commercial assessment of mining projects, including geology, resource potential, exploration upside, development stage, infrastructure, permitting considerations, capital requirements and strategic fit.
  • Review technical reports, resource estimates, geological data and exploration results to develop an independent view of asset quality, risks and upside potential.
  • Lead and coordinate technical, commercial, financial and legal due diligence on potential transactions.
  • Develop valuation analyses, transaction structures and clear recommendations to support investment and capital allocation decisions.
  • Evaluate opportunities within the context of DISA Uranium’s broader portfolio, including geography, processing infrastructure, development timelines and long-term resource strategy, and maintain a prioritized pipeline of opportunities.
  • Build relationships with uranium companies, asset owners and other industry participants, and support the negotiation and execution of acquisitions, investments, joint ventures and commercial agreements.
  • Prepare concise, decision-oriented materials for senior management and the Board and work cross-functionally with geology, engineering, permitting, operations, finance and legal teams to advance priority opportunities.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Geological Engineering, Mining Engineering or another relevant technical discipline strongly preferred, with particular preference for candidates with a geology background.
  • Approximately 7–12+ years of relevant professional experience, with meaningful experience in the mining industry.
  • Demonstrated commercial experience in corporate development, business development, investment banking, private equity, mining investment, strategy or transaction execution.
  • Strong understanding of mineral exploration, resource evaluation and the mining project development lifecycle, with the ability to critically assess technical reports, resource estimates and geological data.
  • Experience evaluating acquisitions, investments, joint ventures or other strategic transactions.
  • Financial modeling and valuation experience preferred.
  • Uranium industry experience is an asset but not required.
  • Strong analytical judgment and the ability to form and communicate an independent view with imperfect information.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to translate technical information into clear commercial recommendations.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and managing multiple opportunities concurrently.
  • Willingness to travel to project sites and meet with counterparties as required.

Benefits

  • Bonus Pool
  • 401(k) with matching up to 4%
  • Health insurance
  • Dental insurance
  • Vision insurance
