Job Summary:
Visual Edge IT is seeking a strategic and creative Director of Content and Brand Marketing to lead the evolution of our brand and drive demand through world-class content strategy. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for shaping how we tell our story, position our solutions, and engage customers across every stage of the buyer journey.
You will serve as the steward of our brand identity and the architect of a scalable content engine that fuels pipeline growth, strengthens market perception, and reinforces our position as a leading total technology solutions provider. This role requires a balance of strategic vision, hands-on execution, and strong cross-functional leadership.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive brand strategy that reflects Visual Edge IT’s evolution into a total technology solutions provider and reinforces our “Power of One” philosophy
- Establish, maintain, and continuously enhance brand standards to ensure consistency, clarity, and differentiation across all channels and markets
- Own and oversee the full content lifecycle strategy, creating a scalable framework that supports top-of-funnel awareness through bottom-of-funnel conversion
- Develop and manage a high-impact editorial calendar aligned with product roadmaps, sales priorities, and national marketing campaigns
- Drive demand generation through compelling, high-quality content including thought leadership, case studies, white papers, digital campaigns, and multimedia assets
- Oversee website content strategy and optimization, ensuring a best-in-class digital experience that effectively communicates value and drives engagement
- Lead social media strategy to increase brand awareness, engagement, and audience growth across key platforms
- Own internal communications strategy, aligning employees with company vision, culture, and key initiatives to foster engagement and consistency
- Develop and execute public relations and analyst relations strategies to elevate brand visibility, strengthen market positioning, and secure earned media opportunities
- Partner closely with Sales, Product, and Executive Leadership to ensure messaging aligns with business objectives and resonates with target audiences
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing content and brand team, fostering creativity, accountability, and continuous improvement
- Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as pipeline contribution, engagement metrics, CAC, LTV, and ROI to measure effectiveness and optimize performance
- Leverage data and insights to continuously refine content strategy and improve campaign outcomes
- Serve as a brand evangelist internally and externally, ensuring consistent storytelling and positioning across all touchpoints
Required Skills / Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field required; MBA or advanced degree preferred
- 10+ years of progressive marketing experience with a strong focus on content marketing, brand strategy, and demand generation within B2B technology environments (Managed Services, Cybersecurity, SaaS, or related fields)
- Proven success leading brand evolution or repositioning initiatives that shift market perception and drive measurable business impact
- Demonstrated expertise in building and executing content strategies that generate demand and move prospects through complex B2B sales cycles
- Exceptional storytelling and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, compelling business value narratives
- Strong leadership experience managing and developing high-performing marketing, content, or communications teams
- Experience aligning marketing strategy with sales objectives to drive pipeline growth and revenue outcomes
- Deep understanding of modern marketing channels, including digital, social, SEO, and inbound marketing strategies
- Strong analytical mindset with experience leveraging data to inform decisions and optimize performance
- Ability to operate both strategically and tactically in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Experience collaborating with executive leadership and presenting strategies, insights, and performance metrics
