This is a fully remote position and can be based anywhere within the U.S.
Lead the impact strategy function of the Enterprise Strategy department responsible for partnering across executive and senior leadership and impact pillar teams to develop a comprehensive and holistic impact growth strategy connected to revenue strategy and overall strategic goals of the enterprise. In this role, you will work with multiple stakeholders, including executive leadership and various cross-functional departments to drive strategic discussions, analysis, and decisions to establish impact strategy, successfully design and implement impact initiatives, and ensure the connection between impact and revenue. You will develop impact growth strategy and organizational performance frameworks, collaborate with strategic planning to ensure it is documented, and work with strategy realization to ensure execution (e.g. performance tracking, process improvement, initiative management).
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Enterprise Impact Strategy Development Cascading from Vision and Mission - Lead and/or facilitate discussions across all levels of leadership to identify enterprise impact outcomes and measures; conduct competitive, positioning, and growth analysis; synthesize data from across the enterprise, prepare materials for and facilitate engagement with senior level leadership to drive decisions on strategic plan development or shifts. 30%
- Enterprise Impact Initiatives - Lead the identification of impact initiatives within and across pillars; facilitate prioritization, design, and potential investment business cases or innovation candidates for consideration. 20%
- Strategy Liaison Relationship - Serve as the strategy liaison to impact pillar teams across the enterprise, attending leadership meetings and providing key support as a business partner or tactically execute key operations and change initiatives needed to ensure the impact strategy goals are achieved. 20%
- Impact Strategy Expertise & Core Capability - Maintain current knowledge of impact strategy related industry trends, market conditions, competitors, customer needs and business opportunities; Build community of impact strategy champions across the enterprise to drive momentum toward integrated, high quality impact strategy, performance, and operations. 20%
- Flexible Strategy Consulting and Leadership - As part of a flexible internal consulting function working across the enterprise, partner with entire Enterprise Strategy department to manage and prioritize requests and complete any other duties as assigned from end-to-end. 10%
EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor's Degree in relevant field
- Preferred Degree: Master's Degree - MBA, MA in Nonprofit Management, or relevant advanced degree preferred.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY:
- 10+ years of experience in nonprofit impact strategy, impact outcome measurement, and/or impact program development and design, preferably in a health and human services nonprofit.
- 10+ years of collaborative leadership including engagement of senior and executive leaders
- Strong knowledge of American Cancer Society programs, strategies and organizational infrastructure or equivalent experience operating in a complex environment in the nonprofit or for profit sector.
- 3+ years of direct experience in nonprofit impact program development and design, including outcome measurement and reporting.
- 3+ years of experience serving as a key leader in enterprise impact strategy development.
- 3+ years of experience designing and facilitating meetings of 3-200+ attendees, crossing all levels of leadership
- Non-profit strategy or management consulting experience preferred.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
- Limited Travel, up to 10%

The starting rate is $130,000 to $145,000. The final candidate's relevant experience/skills will be considered before an offer is extended. Actual starting pay will vary based on non-discriminatory factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, experience, skills, specialty, and education.
