Job Summary

Reporting to the VP, Client Partner Lead, the Director, Client Partner serves as the strategic lead for a portfolio of Medical Affairs and Medical Education clients. You are accountable for deepening and expanding relationships by translating client medical strategy into high-quality, compliant engagement and education programs delivered in partnership with internal Project Delivery teams. You will guide account planning, financial performance, and cross-functional execution, while ensuring programs reflect Reverba’s experience-led approach to education, lived-experience engagement, and measurable outcomes. This role requires strong scientific/medical communications fluency, consultative leadership, and an ability to anticipate client needs across the medical lifecycle (e.g., scientific exchange, education, insight generation, and stakeholder engagement).

 

Essential Job Functions

  • Serve as the primary client partner for a portfolio of Medical Affairs / Medical Education engagements, ensuring a high-quality client experience from planning through delivery.
  • Partner closely with Project Delivery and Scientific Partners to align on scope, scientific strategy, timelines, and resourcing so client deliverables can be met.
  • Lead account planning and identify growth opportunities within existing relationships, collaborating with internal teams to shape solutions that meet client objectives.
  • Support the development of compliant medical engagement activities (e.g., educational initiatives and scientific exchange) by coordinating inputs and aligning stakeholders.
  • Facilitate routine client touchpoints, status updates, and issue resolution, escalating risks and decisions as needed.
  • Oversee account financial health (forecasting, budgets, and profitability) in partnership with internal leadership; maintain accurate activity reporting and CRM documentation.
  • Contribute to quarterly business reviews and participate in proposals/pitches for new work aligned with business development priorities.
  • Promote a collaborative, high-performance culture by mentoring others and modeling Reverba values and client-centric leadership.
  • Ensure work is delivered in accordance with applicable compliance expectations and procurement requirements, partnering with internal experts as needed.

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science degree (required).
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in a medical education agency or similar medical communications/medical affairs engagement capacity, including progressive responsibility in account leadership.
  • Demonstrated experience leading Medical Affairs/Medical Education accounts and programs (e.g., KOL engagement, advisory boards/steering committees, scientific education initiatives) within a regulated healthcare environment.
  • Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance management for complex programs; experience developing scopes, staffing plans, and change controls.
  • Experience using CRM tools to manage pipeline, forecasting, and account activity reporting; commitment to data accuracy and process adherence.
  • Excellent client-facing communication and presentation skills across diverse audiences, including senior medical stakeholders.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to use qualitative and quantitative data to assess performance and improve the client journey to support retention and growth.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and complex stakeholders in a fast-paced environment while meeting aggressive timelines.
  • High integrity and sound judgment; commitment to ethical conduct, compliance, and quality.
  • Self-starter mindset with strong ownership, collaboration, and cross-functional leadership capabilities.
