This role requires building and nurturing strong relationships with key stakeholders, understanding client needs, and translating those insights into strategic business initiatives. The Business Development Director collaborates closely with internal teams to develop tailored solutions, support sales strategies, and contribute to the overall growth trajectory of the company across the US.

  • Lead significant sales efforts and develop strategic partnerships with IDV-related sponsors
  • Manage high-value client accounts and ensure client satisfaction
  • Contribute to the overall business strategy and growth initiatives
  • Represent the company at high-level industry events, trade shows, and conferences
  • Carry sales targets, with responsibility for developing and closing sales opportunities
  • Participate in the proposal process, providing advanced strategic input and direction 
  • Responsible for closing sales awards, developing sales presentations, and leading bid defense meetings
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
  • Experience working with sponsors with infectious disease / vaccines pipeline
  • 5+ years in Business Development or sales in a CRO or other clinical trials related industry
  • Proven track record in leading sales efforts and managing high-value accounts
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills
  • Excellent strategic thinking and business acumen
