REMOTE DIGITAL ORGANIZER — CHICAGO

Pay: $30 per hour | Immediate start

ABOUT THE ROLE

JBC Campaigns is hiring Digital Organizers to connect with Chicago voters through direct messages on social media. You’ll use campaign-approved scripts and our organizing app to engage voters, build relationships, and record their responses.

This is a fully online, entry-level position—no door-to-door canvassing or campaign experience required. Create your own schedule, with the flexibility to work outside standard 9-to-5 hours. Paid training is provided, and applicants can start immediately.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Contact assigned voters through your personal social media accounts

• Build ongoing relationships and encourage voter participation

• Record outreach attempts and responses in our app

• Submit reports and check in regularly with your supervisor

• Represent the campaign professionally online

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• Strong written communication skills

• Friendly, reliable, organized, and comfortable starting conversations

• An established Facebook, Instagram, X, or TikTok account you are willing to use for outreach

• Familiarity with Chicago’s communities is a plus

• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus

REQUIREMENTS

• At least 18 years old and authorized to work in the U.S.

• Smartphone, reliable internet, and an actively used social media account

• Availability to work at least 12 hours per week

• Willingness to complete a review of the public content on the account used for outreach
