Digital Content and Editorial Lead

Job Details: Level: Experienced, Job Location: Legal Address - Elkhart, IN, Position Type: Full Time, Education Level: Bachelor's Degree, Salary Range: $48000.00 - $53000.00Salary/year, Travel Percentage: Up to 25%, Job Shift: Day, Job Category: Media - Journalism - Newspaper, Mennonite Mission Network is looking for a creative and collaborative writer and editor to help shape how we share our stories and connect with our audiences. In this role, you’ll coordinate editorial projects and the writing team’s workflow while creating engaging content for our website, social media, email campaigns, fundraising efforts, newsletters and public relations. You’ll also help develop content strategies, build media relationships and coordinate freelance writers.Qualifications: What we’re looking for: A bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, public relations, journalism or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience Five or more years of professional experience in content writing, editing and digital communications Strong writing, editing, project coordination and interpersonal communication skills Experience with WordPress, Mailchimp, Hootsuite, ClickUp, Canva, InDesign or similar tools Marketing agency or comparable communications experience is preferred Spanish-language fluency is a plus Commitment to Jesus Christ and support for Mennonite Mission Network’s mission, values and anti-racism commitments Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 20 days per year Salary: $48,000–$53,000 per year Location: Elkhart, Indiana, or Newton, Kansas preferred.
