Digital Communication Specialist (Independent Contractor)

Job title: Digital Communication Specialist

Wolfram, creator of Mathematica, Wolfram|Alpha and Wolfram Language, is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Digital Communication Specialist to be a part of its Outreach & Communications department. In this role, you will be responsible for content writing, wrangling and implementation on blog platforms, in videos and on various social media sites. This position will interact directly with supporting internal teams, individual internal and external authors and our executive staff.

Responsibilities

• Tracking and coordinating assigned day-to-day activities for output channels
• Working with internal and external authors to edit and implement publication of blog material
• Coordinating and executing assigned executive-initiated writing projects and other content-creation activities, including blog administration
• Being available during nontraditional work hours for reactive editorial duties
• Interacting with cross-functional teams, including company executives, graphic design and product development teams
• Managing multiple projects simultaneously
• Researching and gathering information from disparate sources and media types

Qualifications

• Proficiency in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to implement HTML
• Superb organizational skills
• Experience with WordPress, Mathematica and/or Wolfram Language is preferred

Location: Fully remote and seeking candidates from Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Mexico and Peru
Job type: Full time (40 hours per week)/Independent Contractor
