We are seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to support a large-scale Facets migration project within the healthcare payer environment. This role will focus on bridging development and operations while embedding security best practices throughout the software development lifecycle. The ideal candidate will help streamline deployments, improve system reliability, and ensure secure, scalable integrations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with development and operations teams to streamline software delivery and deployment processes
  • Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines to support application releases and system updates
  • Monitor applications and infrastructure to identify and resolve production issues
  • Perform root cause analysis and implement solutions to improve system reliability and performance
  • Integrate security practices into the development lifecycle, including code scanning, vulnerability management, and compliance checks
  • Support system integrations and deployment activities related to the Facets migration project
  • Automate processes to improve efficiency, reduce manual effort, and enhance system performance
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to security and quality standards
  • Maintain documentation for deployment processes, security protocols, and system configurations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support ongoing enhancements and system improvements


Requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience in DevOps, DevSecOps, or a similar role supporting application delivery and infrastructure
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automation tools
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
  • Knowledge of scripting or programming languages (such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell)
  • Experience with monitoring tools and incident management processes
  • Strong understanding of security best practices in software development
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to work across technical and business teams
  • Experience supporting healthcare systems or payer environments
  • Exposure to Facets or similar healthcare platforms
  • Experience working on system migration or transformation projects
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Knowledge of infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
