The DevOps Engineer II will play a significant role in the development, automation, and security across our diverse company portfolio. We presently use a diverse number of systems like GitLab-CI/CD, JFrog Artifactory, Terraform, and Kubernetes to automate the testing and delivery of both our Windows and Linux based hosted applications; with plans to consolidate on Granicus standard tools where possible.The DevOps Engineer II will have a good understanding of full-stack application development, testing, continuous integration, a passion for security, and experience working in an agile software development environment.
Experience/Credentials:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science and/or relevant experience• 2+ years of hands-on experience in the DevOps framework.• Strong hold in Linux and Windows administration.• Good proficiency in diagnosing and remediating complex technical issues.• Good understanding of cloud hosting infrastructure.• Designing and implementing infrastructure using IAC, Terraform.• Strong hold on continuous integration/continuous deployment concepts.• Good understanding of cloud networking concepts.• Good understanding of source code management, GitLab preferred.• Good understanding of containerization concepts.• Passion for security and identifying opportunities to improve security and testing.• Effective communication skills for working across support and engineering departments.• Monitoring the infrastructure and application for improvements, and monitoring and analyzingapplication and system logs.• Troubleshooting and debugging cloud-related issues, including performance bottlenecks and system outages.• Developing and maintaining backup and disaster recovery plans.• Ability to leverage AI tools and technologies to enhance productivity, improve decision-making, and drive innovation in daily work activities.
