Deputy Program Manager

As a consultant, you will help drive the operational engine behind a large-scale public utility advisory program by coordinating task orders, managing workflows, and supporting the successful delivery of critical infrastructure initiatives. Your ability to organize resources, track deliverables, and maintain schedule integrity will directly support complex utility modernization efforts. In this role, you will work closely with program leadership, technical SMEs, and client stakeholders to keep work moving efficiently and on schedule. This is an opportunity to play a key role in supporting strategic infrastructure programs at scale.

This opportunity is contingent upon our client being awarded the contract. 

WORKSITE: Remote

WORK SCHEDULE: Consultant, as-needed 

PAY RATE: $90/hour W2

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
• Manage task order intake and support work planning across multiple initiatives
• Coordinate resources, schedules, and staffing assignments
• Track deliverables, deadlines, and project milestones
• Prepare status reports and support PMO governance activities
• Monitor risks, issues, and action items across task orders
• Support program leadership with operational execution and coordination

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
• 10+ years of PMO, program coordination, or task order management experience
• Experience supporting utility or infrastructure programs
• Strong knowledge of scheduling, reporting, and deliverable tracking
• Experience managing multiple concurrent workstreams
• Excellent stakeholder communication and organizational skills
• Utility consulting or public-sector program experience preferred
