Department Overview
We believe our well coordinated clinical care contributes to our outcomes that are among the best in the country. Work as part of team that includes Cancer and Blood Disorder physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, nursing, social work, physical therapy, nutrition, child life, clinic assistants and researchers.

The department at Children's of Minnesota provides care for children of all ages with all types of malignancies including brain tumors, solid tumors, and leukemia; and blood disorders such as sickle cell disease, bleeding disorders, and anemia. As the largest provider of services for children with cancer and bleeding disorders in the region, the Cancer and Blood Disorders program focuses on providing well-coordinated knowledge-driven clinical care. We participate in national and international research and are leaders in research on supportive care and quality of life for children with cancer and bleeding disorders.

Position Summary

Collection of data as needed for decision making, strategy development, assessment of health care quality, practice management, and clinical research. Query of clinical database for system-wide requests, displaydata, interpret results, develop ongoing formats which meet user needs, and provide statistical information as required by various affiliated study groups and Children's Hospitals and Clinics of Minnesota.

Location: Remote- Must be MN or WI resident

 

Four year degree in health-related field with RRA or ART RHIA or RHIT credential. Previous experience with coding, nomenclatures, case mix analysis and database query tools preferred. PC experience required.

The posted salary represents a market competitive range based on salary survey benchmark data for similar roles in the local or national market. Annual salaries displayed are based on full-time employment (40 standard hrs per week). Annual salaries for part-time positions will be prorated based on the employee’s scheduled weekly hours in relation to the full-time standard. When determining individual pay rates, we carefully consider a wide range of factors including but not limited to market indicators for the specific role, the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate, internal equity and organizational needs.

In addition to your salary, this position may be eligible for medical, dental, vision, retirement, and other fringe benefits. Positions that require night, weekend or on-call work may be eligible for shift differentials or premium pay.
