Data Entry Representative

The Data Entry Representative supports the Imaging Services team by reviewing, reconciling, and accurately entering imaging orders received via fax. This is a non-phone-based data entry role focused on processing, reconciling, and transcribing imaging orders received via fax. The ideal candidate will have experience working in Epic, a strong understanding of medical terminology, and familiarity with imaging exams and procedures.

This position plays a critical role in ensuring orders are accurate, complete, and ready for scheduling while maintaining timely communication with provider offices and internal scheduling teams.

This position is full-time Monday - Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 8:30am – 5:00pm MST. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime. 

This will be on the job training and the hours during training will be during normal business hours.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Review, reconcile, and accurately enter imaging orders received via fax into the appropriate systems.
• Verify that orders contain all required information and documentation.
• Identify incomplete, inaccurate, or missing information and contact provider offices to request corrected or updated orders.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of order status and follow-up activities.
• Collaborate closely with scheduling teams to ensure orders are processed efficiently.
• Prioritize and expedite STAT orders requiring immediate attention.
• Ensure data integrity and compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
• Support workflow efficiency by monitoring order queues and addressing processing backlogs when necessary.

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma / GED
• Must be 18 years of age OR older
• 1+ years of healthcare industry experience 
• Familiarity with computer and Windows PC applications, which includes the ability to navigate and learn new and complex computer system applications
• Ability to work an eight-hour shift between, Monday – Friday, 08:30AM – 05:00PM MST

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with radiology terminology
• EPIC experience

Telecommuting Requirements:

• Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable)
• Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy
• Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $16 - $29 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
