We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer with strong expertise in Snowflake, DBT, SQL, and Data Warehousing to build scalable data transformation pipelines and modern cloud-based data platforms. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in designing enterprise data warehouse solutions, optimizing Snowflake environments, and implementing DataOps best practices.
Design, develop, and maintain modular DBT models, including staging, intermediate, and data marts.
Build and optimize scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines and data ingestion frameworks.
Design and maintain Snowflake schemas, data models, and transformation workflows.
Implement and manage Snowpipe, Streams, Tasks, and Virtual Warehouses for efficient data processing.
Develop and optimize SQL queries and DBT models for high performance.
Implement data quality checks, testing frameworks, and data validation using DBT.
Manage CI/CD pipelines for automated DBT deployments and Snowflake schema changes.
Collaborate with Analytics Engineers, Data Analysts, and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable data solutions.
Implement role-based access control (RBAC), security policies, and secure data sharing within Snowflake.
Troubleshoot and optimize data pipelines, SQL queries, and performance bottlenecks.
Maintain data lineage, documentation, and enterprise data standards.
8–10 years of experience in Data Engineering.
Strong expertise in Snowflake, DBT Framework, and SQL.
Experience building Enterprise Data Warehouse (DWH) solutions.
Strong understanding of Dimensional Data Modeling, Star Schema, and data warehousing concepts.
Experience designing ETL/ELT pipelines and data ingestion frameworks.
Hands-on experience with Linux/Unix Shell Scripting.
Experience with scheduling tools such as Control-M, Autosys, or equivalent.
Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
Exposure to Databricks.
Experience with cloud data platforms.
Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or DBT Cloud.
Familiarity with Power BI.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Work on enterprise-scale cloud and data engineering projects.
