What You'll Do

• Design and develop data warehouse, analytics, and reporting solutions using SQL Server and Azure technologies.

• Partner with business intelligence and reporting teams to create solutions that drive measurable business value.
• Develop and maintain database objects, stored procedures, functions, and data structures that support enterprise reporting and analytics.
• Build, optimize, and support ETL/ELT processes using Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory, and related technologies.
• Create automated and reusable data integration solutions across multiple systems and platforms.
• Develop, test, and maintain applications and backend interfaces that support business operations and strategic initiatives.
• Build analytical prototypes and proof-of-concept solutions based on business requirements.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve the performance, scalability, and reliability of data platforms and applications.
• Implement automation, source control, and CI/CD deployment practices to improve efficiency and maintainability.
• Promote quality through testing, validation, and support of user acceptance testing activities.
• Provide production support for enterprise data platforms, including incident investigation, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, issue resolution, and participation in a rotating on-call schedule to ensure the reliability and availability of critical business systems.
• Collaborate with DBAs, developers, support teams, and external vendors to ensure timely resolution of system challenges.
• Support disaster recovery readiness and validate data platform resiliency.
• Research emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices to continuously improve data engineering capabilities.
• Work closely with business and technology stakeholders to gather requirements and design effective data solutions.
