We have partnered with a U.S.-based company that specializes in marketing effectiveness measurement across various channels. They are an independent company fully dedicated to helping organizations understand consumer behavior, purchasing trends, and market performance through data-driven insights.
We are looking for a Data Analyst to join our clientβs global team. This role is open to both recent graduates and early-career professionals who are passionate about working with data. The position focuses on querying, transforming, and analyzing large-scale consumer and retail datasets to generate actionable insights for clients and internal stakeholders.
Extract, query, and manipulate data using SQL from relational databases and cloud data warehouses.
Analyze large transactional and consumer datasets to identify trends, patterns, and business insights.
Build and maintain structured datasets that support recurring reports and business analyses.
Calculate key business metrics such as household penetration, market share, purchasing behavior, and category trends.
Work with raw and semi-structured data, cleaning and categorizing information as needed.
Validate data outputs and perform quality checks to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
Collaborate with internal teams to support reporting needs and answer business questions through data.
Translate complex datasets into clear findings and recommendations.
0β4 years of experience in Data Analytics, Reporting, Business Intelligence, or similar analytical roles.
Advanced English level (written and spoken).
Strong SQL skills, including joins, filtering, aggregations, GROUP BY statements, and conditional logic.
Understanding of relational databases, table relationships, and data structures.
Experience working with large datasets and performing data validation.
Ability to identify trends, anomalies, and meaningful business insights from data.
Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Marketing, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
Experience with Common Table Expressions (CTEs), subqueries, or window functions.
Experience working with consumer, retail, panel, transactional, or market research datasets.
Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Looker, Tableau, or similar.
Experience with text data cleaning, categorization, or string manipulation techniques.
Basic knowledge of Python for data manipulation and analysis.
