Customer Onboarding Project Manager

What You'll Be Doing

As a Project Manager, you will lead the successful onboarding and migration of enterprise clients from on-premises environments to cloud-based platforms, ensuring a seamless transition and exceptional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end client onboarding and cloud migration projects from initiation through to successful delivery.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, milestones, and risk registers to ensure projects remain on track.
• Collaborate closely with technical teams, solution architects, and stakeholders to align migration activities with client requirements and readiness.
• Facilitate discovery and planning workshops to assess client infrastructure, data quality, business processes, and security requirements.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the onboarding and migration lifecycle.
• Provide proactive communication, stakeholder management, and expectation setting to ensure a positive customer experience.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks and dependencies, resolve blockers, and escalate issues when necessary.
• Ensure compliance with data governance policies, GDPR, security standards, and industry best practices throughout the migration process.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives by capturing lessons learned and incorporating client feedback into onboarding processes.

What You'll Bring

Essential Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience managing complex IT projects, ideally within cloud migration, data migration, digital transformation, or enterprise onboarding environments.
• Strong understanding of cloud technologies, migration frameworks, and project delivery methodologies.
• Demonstrated experience managing cross-functional teams and coordinating technical and business stakeholders.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business value.
• Solid understanding of data governance, GDPR, information security, and compliance considerations in cloud environments.
• Strong organizational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
• Experience using project management tools, risk management frameworks, and reporting methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, Scrum Master, or equivalent project management certifications.
• Experience working within SaaS, cloud platform, data migration, or enterprise software implementation environments.
• Familiarity with enterprise cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
