About the Role

As a Customer Campaign Project Manager at Hyland, you'll sit at the intersection of strategy and execution โ€” translating customer lifecycle goals into scalable, measurable campaigns that drive adoption, retention, and expansion. You'll serve as a strategic thought partner and a hands-on project manager, coordinating across Customer Success, Marketing, Sales, Product, Services, and Operations to bring impactful programs to life with operational excellence and clear business outcomes.

Your Role Responsibilities โ€“ Here's What You'll Do

  • Partner with internal stakeholders to define campaign objectives, target audiences, key messages, and success metrics tied to measurable customer outcomes such as adoption, retention, and expansion.
  • Create and maintain campaign briefs, project charters, and integrated project plans โ€” specifying goals, execution approach, staffing, schedules, and deliverables โ€” while keeping sponsors and teams informed of progress, risks, and tradeoffs.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams and dependencies across Customer Success, Marketing, Sales, Product, Services, and Operations to ensure campaigns are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned to accepted requirements.
  • Support implementation of campaigns across multiple channels โ€” including email, webinars, digital in-product guidance, and coordinated CSM motions โ€” while ensuring brand consistency across all assets and collateral.
  • Collaborate with automation and operations partners to build, deploy, and optimize campaigns; maintain reporting dashboards and present data-driven insights to support stakeholder decision-making.
  • Drive continuous improvement through A/B testing, performance analysis, and the development of reusable assets such as playbooks, templates, and lifecycle journey frameworks to accelerate repeatability and scale.

Role Essentials

You'll need these skills to hit the ground running:

  • Practical experience leading end-to-end projects or programs, from initiation through closure, including planning, scheduling, risk management, and stakeholder communications.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and drive execution in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional demeanor; able to engage with discretion and tact across all levels of an organization.
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and time management skills with high attention to detail and sharp critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, Copilot, etc.) and sound business and technology acumen with the curiosity and aptitude to learn new tools quickly.

What We'd Like to See

These will help you stand out:

  • Background in Customer Success, customer marketing, or lifecycle program management.
  • Experience with automation and lifecycle tooling โ€” including digital engagement platforms, customer marketing tools, or CS Ops technology (e.g. Gainsight).
  • Familiarity with lifecycle motions โ€” onboarding, adoption, expansion, and renewals โ€” and how they connect to measurable customer outcomes.
  • Experience developing campaign briefs, coordinating creative assets, and ensuring brand consistency across multiple channels and formats.
  • Experience leveraging AI tools to increase productivity and scale customer communications and workflows; SaaS or enterprise software background preferred.
