The Creative Strategist will analyze Meta ad performance to identify trends and translate them into actionable creative hypotheses. They will also ideate and write creative briefs for static, video, and UGC-style ads while maintaining a testing roadmap.
The Role
We're looking for a mid-level Creative Strategist to own creative analysis and ideation for our Meta and other advertising accounts. You'll dig into what's working and what isn't across Meta creative, translate those patterns into new concepts and testing plans, and partner closely with our paid social buyers to keep creative aligned with funnel stage, offer, and audience. This is a hands-on, analytical role for someone who's as comfortable pulling apart a performance breakdown as they are briefing a new video concept.
What You'll Do
Analyze Meta ad creative performance (hook rate, thumb-stop ratio, CTR, CPA/ROAS by creative) to identify what's driving or dragging results.
Spot patterns across format, messaging, and visual style, and translate them into clear, testable creative hypotheses.
Ideate and write creative briefs for new concepts — static, video, and UGC-style — tailored to each client and audience.
Build and maintain a rolling creative testing roadmap
Present creative insights, test results, and recommendations.
Track competitor and industry creative trends, especially in consumer lending and other regulated-adjacent verticals, and bring fresh ideas back to the team.
Stay current on Meta ad formats, specs, and policy changes that affect creative approval and performance.
2–4 years of experience in paid social creative strategy, performance marketing, or media buying with a strong creative focus.
Hands-on experience with Meta Ads Manager and reading creative-level performance data.
A track record of turning performance data into creative hypotheses and briefs — not just reporting on what happened, but recommending what to do next.
Strong communication skills; comfortable presenting ideas and results to clients.
A collaborative approach to working with designers, editors, and media buyers.
Genuine interest in direct-response creative — what makes people stop scrolling and act.
Experience with financial services, lending, insurance, or other regulated/compliance-sensitive verticals.
Working knowledge of Meta funnel strategy and phase-appropriate messaging and revenue assumptions.
Basic video editing or design tool skills (e.g., Premiere, CapCut, Canva, Figma) for mocking up concepts.
Copywriting experience for direct-response ad creative.
