Role Summary
We're looking for a senior copywriter who specializes in emails and thinks like a strategist. From long-form advertorial sequences to short-form campaigns and automated lifecycle flows, you write email copy that converts—and you don't wait to be told where the opportunity is. You spot the gap, propose the test, and track the result. You'll work directly with our Director of Customer Lifecycle & Revenue in a high-growth DTC environment where your work directly impacts revenue.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Craft persuasive product descriptions and compelling copy for our website to maximize conversion rates.
- Create persuasive short and long-form product copy, advertorial-style content, and landing pages for our email marketing campaigns and customer journeys to drive increased conversions, sales, and retention.
- Write and maintain transactional content associated with the website, including confirmation emails, fulfillment notifications, subscription notifications, etc.
- Craft upsell, cross-sell, subscription, and loyalty campaign content to drive increased lifetime value (LTV) and retention.
- Work cross-functionally with the SEO, content marketing, social media, and UX/UI teams to optimize strategies to increase traffic and conversions through landing page and lead magnet optimizations.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure alignment between copywriting efforts and overall marketing strategies.
- Utilize a deep understanding of the customer journey from initial website entry to optimize content and messaging, facilitating seamless navigation and guiding users towards conversion.
- Continuously analyze email performance, website traffic and user behavior to identify opportunities for improvement and refine copywriting strategies accordingly.
- Proactively develop and manage A/B and multivariate copy tests across email, landing pages, and product pages; analyze results and apply learnings to continuously improve performance.
- Contribute to marketing strategy development by identifying copy and messaging opportunities across the customer lifecycle and bringing forward proactive recommendations.
- Develop, maintain, and evolve brand voice guidelines; ensure consistency across all owned channels and assets.
- Assist with reviewing email campaign and content calendars to plan and schedule tests, assist with creation of email test briefs, and creation of creative briefs for tests associated with other A/B testing across the customer journey.
Qualifications & Skills Required
- 7+ years' experience in writing short and long-form marketing copy for DTC nutritional supplement companies.
- Demonstrated results in email revenue, conversion rate improvement, and/or retention metrics.
- Strong understanding of DSHEA & FTC guidelines for nutritional supplement advertising.
- Familiarity with SEO/GEO principles and experience with SEO copywriting.
- Excellent writing skills with a keen eye for detail and the ability to tailor messaging to different target audiences.
- Creative thinker with the ability to generate innovative ideas and solutions.
- Familiarity with analytics tools and the ability to use data to drive decision-making.
- Ability to understand the user journey from initial website entry and optimize copy and content to facilitate conversion at each stage.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities without close supervision.
- Experience developing and interpreting copy-driven A/B tests; comfort working alongside analytics and CRO tools.
- Experience writing for and within email marketing platforms (Klaviyo preferred).
- Passion for nutrition and wellness is a plus!

Pay Range: $40 - $52/hour DOE
Hours: Monday – Friday, 9am – 6pm ET with one hour lunch break
