About the role
Job Purpose:
Responsible for the management of clinical imaging data (e.g. PET, SPECT, CT, MRI) for clinical research trials, including; data entry and project coordination, as well as receipt, review, reconciliation, and transfer of data coming from research centers worldwide. This position is critical to establishing and maintaining data integrity. Tasks include controlling and moving data through a quality assurance program while tracking issues, performing reconciliation, and communicating with both internal and external personal as part of that process.
Essential Functions:
Data entry in Core Lab electronic systems
Data tracking and reconciliation
Communication with internal project teams and external research centers
Review and maintenance of (image) data files
Electronic transfer of large image-based data such as PET, SPECT, MRI, CT files between remote sites
Troubleshooting; support for remote centers participating in trials
Resolve transfer errors and permission access privileges
Transcription of data between operating systems and archive media
Ensure adherence to study timelines are met
Ensure adherence to image format protocol / guidelines
Additional responsibilities as deemed necessary by supervisor
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required, experience in clinical research or computer-related field preferred
Possess strong administrative skills including written and verbal skills for effectively communicating with departmental staff and remote research centers,
Knowledge of Microsoft Excel (e.g. comparing/merging documents, tracking changes),
Be detail oriented and have excellent organizational skills,
Have relevant experience that exhibits organizational capabilities,
Be process focused for ensuring efficient follow-through of internal procedures,
Familiarity with radiological images and DICOM is a plus
This role is remote based in the United States. Candidates located in the following states: AZ, CT, DE, FL, GA, IL, MA, MO, NH, NJ, NC, PA, UT, VA are preferred. The hourly range for this role is $19-$25/hr. This range represents the anticipated initial hourly range and will vary depending on several factors including the candidate’s experience and skills as well as market rate adjustment.
