We are seeking a detail-oriented Clinical Contracts & Budget Specialist to support the successful startup of global clinical trials. In this role, you will manage site contract negotiations, oversee clinical trial budgets, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure study milestones are achieved on schedule.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in clinical research contracting who enjoys working in a fast-paced, international environment and building strong relationships with internal stakeholders and research sites.

What you will do:

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Lead negotiations with investigative sites on clinical trial agreements, site budgets, payment schedules, contract amendments, and related documentation.
  • Support the development, implementation, and maintenance of master clinical trial agreement processes.
  • Work closely with Clinical Operations, Study Start-Up teams, external service providers, and other key stakeholders to facilitate timely site activation.
  • Ensure contracting and budgeting activities are completed in accordance with internal standards, study timelines, and applicable regulations.
  • Utilize industry benchmarking tools and fair market value guidance to develop and review site budgets.
  • Monitor contract and budget progress, proactively identify risks or delays, and escalate issues where appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and tracking of negotiations to ensure project deadlines are met.
  • Assist with resolving complex contract or budget-related issues impacting study start-up.

Your Profile:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant scientific or healthcare discipline.
  • At least two years of experience in clinical trial contracting, budgeting, or study start-up within a pharmaceutical company, CRO, or related clinical research organization.
  • Working knowledge of clinical research regulations, including ICH-GCP and relevant global regulatory requirements.
  • Understanding of clinical trial agreements, investigator site budgets, and fair market value principles.
  • Familiarity with clinical study protocols and schedule of assessments.

  • Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and support informed decision-making.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary and international teams.
  • Confident in identifying challenges, proposing practical solutions, and driving tasks through to completion.
  • Ability to simplify complex information and communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Demonstrated commitment to fostering an inclusive, collaborative, and respectful working environment.
