The Senior Consultant II will provide technical expertise on project tasks to ensure quality services are delivered on schedule and within the available budget to meet customer requirements. As part of a project team, Senior Consultant II will maintain relationships with clients and key decision makers to help identify new business opportunities.

Education and Experience
- 8+ years of relevant professional experience
- Must have a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Professional certification preferred

- Ability to mentor/coach entry-level consultants and hone technical skills in others

- Strong knowledge of maritime operations, marine safety, risk management methods, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Knowledge of safety management systems, audit and inspection practices, and incident investigation methods.
- Ability to conduct risk assessments, hazard analyses, compliance reviews, and regulatory gap assessments.
- Ability to interpret technical, operational, and regulatory requirements and develop practical recommendations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to evaluate issues and support effective mitigation strategies.
- Solid project management skills, including planning, coordination, scheduling, and management of assigned deliverables.
- Effective client service and consulting skills, with the ability to build productive working relationships.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including preparation of technical reports and client presentations.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and work effectively in a dynamic project environment.
- Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in preparing technical documentation, findings, recommendations, and corrective action support.

Salary:
$110k - $120k

Reports to a manager, director, or executive level position
