The consultant will gather and analyze business requirements while writing detailed user stories to bridge the gap between stakeholders and technical teams. They will also manage project workflows in Jira and Confluence while supporting quality assurance and process improvement initiatives.

What You Will Do
• Requirement Gathering & Analysis: Work with stakeholders to understand business objectives, processes, and user needs in the travel space. Lead requirement-gathering sessions and document detailed business requirements.
• User Story Writing: Write clear, detailed user stories that align with business goals and are easy for both technical and non-technical colleagues to understand. Partner with product owners, developers, and QA teams to refine user stories and acceptance criteria.
• System Analysis: Review existing systems, processes, and data flows in the travel space to find opportunities for improvement. Propose and help implement solutions that improve efficiency and meet business goals.
• Jira & Confluence Management: Use Jira and Confluence to manage project workflows, document user stories, and support team collaboration. Keep Confluence documentation current with the latest requirements and project status.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with development, QA, and other teams to ensure solutions are implemented successfully. Serve as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams.
• Quality Assurance Support: Help create test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on documented requirements. Work with QA teams to ensure thorough testing of solutions.
• Continuous Improvement: Look for opportunities to improve processes and recommend solutions that boost efficiency. Stay current on industry trends and best practices in the travel space.
What We Are Looking For
• Bachelor’s degree in business, Information Technology, or a related field
• Proven experience as a Business Systems Analyst
• Strong proficiency in Jira and Confluence
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Experience writing user stories and defining acceptance criteria
• Solid understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• GDS (Global Distribution System) experience is a strong plus
