Skill Set:

• Requires knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures within the construction industry and understanding of multi-family framing components.
• 2-3 years of experience as a construction estimator, multi-family project superintendent or foreman, or framing contractor required.
• Working knowledge (or at least familiarity) with takeoff software (Planswift) and Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to work independently and perform assigned tasks in a timely manner without direct supervision.
• Employee must be U.S. based

Day to Day:

• The MF Estimator position works remotely and reports to the Director of Estimating.
• Responsible for review and analysis of blueprints and specifications, performing takeoffs and generating bill of material reports for lumber, framing hardware and other assigned scopes of work for multi-family and all other assigned projects in a timely manner.
• Communicates directly with our Project Managers and other employees to answer questions and provide takeoff revisions when required for change orders.
