Loomer is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Conceptual Artist to develop professional product concepts and realistic visual mock-ups that accurately interpret customer requirements.
The role combines creative design with production awareness. The successful candidate will transform customer ideas, logos, artwork and job briefs into visually appealing concepts that align with the client's brand and can practically be produced.
- Interpret customer requirements from job briefs, logos, artwork and supporting information.
- Develop professional conceptual artwork and realistic product mock-ups.
- Apply typography, visual hierarchy, layout, spacing and composition principles.
- Create multiple design concepts where required.
- Produce realistic product visualisations using perspective, proportion and shape.
- Use sound design judgement and recommend improvements where necessary.
- Ensure artwork is practical and suitable for production.
- Maintain organised artwork files and revision control.
- Complete revisions accurately and efficiently.
- Prioritise work according to business requirements and turnaround times.
- Maintain accurate daily worklogs.
- Communicate with management when clarification or support is required.
Requirements
- Professional experience in conceptual artwork or graphic design.
- Experience creating commercial artwork and product mock-ups.
- Experience working to deadlines.
- Experience in a customer-focused environment.
- Relevant Graphic Design or related qualification preferred.
- Portfolio demonstrating conceptual thinking, branding, layout and product visualisation.
- Experience in CorelDraw, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop
