The Compliance Coordinator supports school compliance to ensure adherence to relevant laws, regulations, and school policies. They will monitor school policies and documentation related to safety, student privacy, and operational programs and procedures. The coordinator conducts internal audits, prepares reports, and collaborates with schools and corporate teams. In collaboration with stakeholders, this position helps prevent, detect, and correct noncompliance.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Maintain compliance calendars, evidence requirements, submissions, and corrective-action plans
  • Monitor student data, document management, and compliance for enrollment and attendance
  • Translate requirements into practical checklists, workflows, training, documentation, and internal controls
  • Monitor school completion reports regarding school compliance training and support technical issues for school teams related to the compliance training platform
  • Compile and analyze both internal and external information to prepare compliance audit data, including school websites, policies and procedures, and implementation of school law
  • Monitor existing and new legislation and advise school leadership on necessary actions to make sure the company complies with local, state, and federal legal requirements
  • Collect and coordinate internal compliance data with other departments
  • Implement policies, procedures, and systems to provide administrative support to schools
  • Research questions regarding regulations to help other team members better understand and ensure compliance
  • Support the preparation and submission of authorization, partnership renewals, and new school proposals
  • Maintain audit trails, issue logs, decision records, approvals, corrective-action evidence, and continuity documentation
  • Provide professional development and ongoing resources in compliance with guidelines, requirements, and standards for school leaders

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree Required, Master's Degree Preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite Products
  • Knowledge of student data compliance, monitoring, corrective action, and reporting
  • Prior experience working in a school setting preferred
  • Prior experience managing law and regulation compliance, especially within educational settings, is preferred to ensure candidates understand the level of expertise required for this role
  • Prior experience creating and documenting procedures and workflows
  • Ability to handle confidential information responsibly and exhibit sound judgment while maintaining that confidentiality
  • Demonstrates a reliable, dependable, and trustworthy work ethic
  • Ability to manage difficult or emotional client situations
  • Ability to make sound judgments after all available information has been gathered or communicated
  • Demonstrates a mature attitude and insight into matters affecting department, self and/or company welfare
  • Demonstrated leadership and management ability

  • Ability to work well under pressure, effectively prioritize and execute tasks to meet deadlines consistently

The annual starting salary for this position is between $55,000 – $65,000 annually.  Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
