SECONDMENT PART-TIME ROLE  

 

Salary: £27,000 (Pro-Rata)  

Hours: 21 – 24 hours per week 

Secondment Length: 6 Months 





Purpose of the Role



To provide administrative support to the Legal and Compliance team, assisting with AML compliance, data privacy, and general compliance tasks. This is an entry-level role suited to someone looking to build a career in compliance, working closely with the Head of AML and wider team to help the business meet its regulatory obligations. 



Key Responsibilities



  1. Assist with day-to-day AML compliance administration, including maintaining records, supporting audit preparation, and tracking case progress. 
  1. Process data privacy requests, including Data Subject Access Requests (DSARs) and data deletion requests, in line with UK GDPR and internal policies. 
  1. Provide general administrative support across compliance and legal functions, including document management and correspondence. 
  1. Help track training completion across the team and assist with coordinating training sessions and materials. 
  1. Produce and update basic reports and trackers to support team decision-making and compliance monitoring. 
  1. Liaise with internal teams, including Customer Experience, to support timely resolution of queries and help prevent escalations. 
  1. Carry out any other administrative tasks as reasonably requested by the Head of AML / DPO. 



Skills & Attributes



  1. Some exposure to AML or compliance in a professional setting is desirable, though not essential - a genuine interest in the area is key. 
  1. Good understanding of, or willingness to learn about, GDPR and data privacy requirements. 
  1. Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail. 
  1. Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality. 
  1. A proactive, can-do attitude with a willingness to take initiative. 
  1. Good written and verbal communication skills. 
  1. Comfortable working with Microsoft Office and general administrative systems.
