Salary: £27,000 (Pro-Rata)
Hours: 21 – 24 hours per week
Secondment Length: 6 Months
Purpose of the Role
To provide administrative support to the Legal and Compliance team, assisting with AML compliance, data privacy, and general compliance tasks. This is an entry-level role suited to someone looking to build a career in compliance, working closely with the Head of AML and wider team to help the business meet its regulatory obligations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with day-to-day AML compliance administration, including maintaining records, supporting audit preparation, and tracking case progress.
- Process data privacy requests, including Data Subject Access Requests (DSARs) and data deletion requests, in line with UK GDPR and internal policies.
- Provide general administrative support across compliance and legal functions, including document management and correspondence.
- Help track training completion across the team and assist with coordinating training sessions and materials.
- Produce and update basic reports and trackers to support team decision-making and compliance monitoring.
- Liaise with internal teams, including Customer Experience, to support timely resolution of queries and help prevent escalations.
- Carry out any other administrative tasks as reasonably requested by the Head of AML / DPO.
Skills & Attributes
- Some exposure to AML or compliance in a professional setting is desirable, though not essential - a genuine interest in the area is key.
- Good understanding of, or willingness to learn about, GDPR and data privacy requirements.
- Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.
- A proactive, can-do attitude with a willingness to take initiative.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable working with Microsoft Office and general administrative systems.
