POSITION SUMMARY:
The Compliance Administrator provides administrative and operational support to the Compliance Department to help ensure the organization's affordable housing portfolio remains compliant with all applicable federal, state, and local housing regulations. This position is responsible for coordinating reporting requirements, tracking critical compliance deadlines, maintaining accurate records, and supporting various compliance initiatives. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, able to manage multiple priorities, and possesses a working knowledge of affordable housing programs, including LIHTC, HUD, and other affordable housing regulations.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Complete and submit required monthly state compliance reports accurately and within established deadlines.
- Assist the Vice President of Compliance and Compliance Director with preparing, maintaining, and distributing weekly compliance reports.
- Maintain compliance calendars and monitor regulatory reporting deadlines.
- Organize and maintain compliance documentation and electronic filing systems.
- Assist with file reviews, audits, and preparation for internal and external compliance reviews.
- Communicate with property teams regarding outstanding documentation, reporting requirements, and compliance deadlines.
- Monitor and follow up on compliance-related requests to ensure timely completion.
- Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and correspondence as requested.
- Identify discrepancies or missing information and work collaboratively with property teams to resolve issues.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive resident and company information.
- Support departmental process improvements and special projects.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
SPECIFIC EDUCATION OR EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Property Management, Public Administration, or a related field preferred.
- One to three years of administrative experience required.
- Prior experience in affordable housing, property management, or compliance administration strongly preferred.
- Working knowledge of affordable housing programs such as LIHTC, HUD, HOME, Section 8, or other affordable housing regulations preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Experience with property management or compliance software is a plus.
