Responsibilities:
The position will be responsible for all phases of commercial, real estate, and creditors’ rights litigation, with an emphasis on drafting pleadings; conducting written discovery; taking and defending depositions; and handling oral motion hearings. Experience handling real estate lease disputes, equipment lease disputes, bank workouts, commercial foreclosures replevin actions and bankruptcy litigation is a plus.
QualificationsQualifications and Skills:
A background in real estate litigation and creditors’ rights litigation is ideal; experience with real estate and equipment lease disputes is a plus.
Three to five years of experience in commercial real estate and/or creditors’ rights litigation.
Must have three to five years of trial experience, including trying two cases to conclusion (first or second chair).
Strong research and writing skills.
Strong negotiation and drafting skills.
Possess superior verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrate strong integrity and professionalism.
Ability to multitask.
Exercise judgment and the ability to work autonomously and as an effective member of a team.
Intellectual curiosity and the ability to solve problems independently.
Admission to the Pennsylvania bar is required. Admission to the New Jersey bar is a plus, and admission to the New York bar is also a bonus.
