Commercial Assurance Manager
 
What you will be doing:
As an Assurance Manager, you will execute the day to today activities of audit engagements with various clients, with particular focus on complex phases; You will mentor, supervise, and train staff auditors as well as interface with clients on a daily basis
  • Manage and plan multiple audit assignments ensuring deadlines are met
  • Review work papers
  • Serve as the client's trusted advisor, demonstrate knowledge of industry trends, identify client issues and conflicts and proactively communicate solution options to the client and team
  • Manage staff on engagement deliverables; ability to provide timely feedback on engagements ensuring staff learning and development
  • Complete technical and strategic reviews ensuring timely delivery within budget
  • Manage engagement budget, billing and realization of assigned clients and the supervision, training and mentoring of staff
  • Responsible for new client development in partnership with upper management; participate in client meetings, presentation and proposal development.
  • Evaluate internal accounting controls and audit programs or other reports, plans or programs prepared by the staff
  • Supervise the preparation of management letters or final reports
  • Assist with training, coaching supervising and mentoring staff and interns
 
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting; Master's degree in Accounting Preferred
  • You are a CPA in good standing
  • You have a minimum of 5+ years of audit experience within a public accounting firm
  • You have the ability to perform and direct multiple engagements
  • You have experience with new client development and can recognize opportunities to provide additional services to existing clients
  • You are able to travel 20+ percent
  • You have advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, with strong proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • You possess excellent project management, analytical, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
  • You have strong leadership, training and mentoring skills

Work Authorization:

Salary Range: $117,000 - $141,000 
 
Please note that quoted salary ranges are not guarantees of what final salary offers may be. Base pay may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographic location. Base pay is only one part of the Total Rewards that LSL, LLP provides to compensate and recognize our professionals for their work. All exempt positions are eligible for a discretionary bonus and all employees who are regularly scheduled to work 30 hours or more per week are offered a comprehensive benefits package.
