• Review aging reports routinely to prioritize overdue accounts by risk level, days past due, and payment history, creating a structured follow-up plan for each account.
  
• Contact customers via phone and email to confirm invoice status, clarify outstanding balances, and secure firm payment commitments with specific dates and next steps.
  
• Investigate disputes or payment delays by coordinating with billing/AR/sales to verify invoice accuracy, contractual terms, and required documentation (POs, approvals, etc.).
  
• Document all collection activity thoroughly in the accounting system/CRM, including contact attempts, customer responses, commitments, dispute notes, and next follow-up dates.
  
• Negotiate payment arrangements within company policy and confirm agreements in writing, ensuring expectations are clear and enforceable.
  
• Produce structured weekly summaries highlighting collected amounts, accounts at risk, disputes in progress, and items requiring escalation or leadership support.
  
• Maintain a professional, solution-focused tone to preserve relationships while consistently enforcing payment terms and reducing outstanding balances.
