You will…

• OWN the end-to-end invoicing and collection process, from issuing invoices through to payment or escalation.

• MANAGE accounts receivable and actively recover current and aged outstanding debts.

• DRIVE the recovery of current and aged debts by confidently following up with clients through phone and email.

• RESOLVE invoice disputes and billing issues by working closely with clients and internal teams.

• MAINTAIN accurate accounts receivable records and ensure client balances are correctly reconciled in Xero.

• SUPPORT BAS and IAS preparation, Australian payroll, credit card and bank reconciliations, and other Australian compliance requirements.

• ASSIST the wider Finance team with accounts payable, financial reporting, and bookkeeping when required.

• Other tasks that may be assigned from time to time.

  
  

The right fit for this role is HUNGRY and AMBITIOUS with:

• 5+ YEARS OF EXPERIENCE in accounts receivable, debt collection, invoicing, bookkeeping, or a similar finance role.

• PROVEN EXPERIENCE owning end-to-end invoicing and collections, including the recovery of current and aged debts.

• STRONG EXPERIENCE using Xero for invoicing, accounts receivable, credit card and bank reconciliations.

• WORKING KNOWLEDGE of Australian bookkeeping and compliance, including BAS, IAS, GST, PAYG withholding, payroll, and superannuation. (Advantage but not required)

• SOLID UNDERSTANDING of budgeting, financial reporting, strategic planning, and company compliance. (Advantage but not required)

• EXCELLENT COMMUNICATION SKILLS and advanced English proficiency, with the confidence to negotiate payment outcomes and build relationships with Australian clients.

• A RELEVANT QUALIFICATION in accounting, bookkeeping, finance, or a related field.

• HIGHLY ORGANIZED and detail-oriented, with strong follow-through and the ability to manage competing deadlines.

• A STRONG WORK ETHIC suited to a fast-paced, high-performance environment.
