The strongest fit will be an experienced professional coder who has progressed into auditing, education, quality, compliance, or coding advisory work. Substantial surgical coding experience is highly valued, and direct Neurology or Neurosurgery coding experience is especially desirable. Success requires a commitment to accuracy, strong research capabilities, effective presentation skills, and the ability to make complex coding guidance understandable and actionable for clinical audiences.
