🚀 Cloud Infrastructure Support Engineer (Tier 3) – NCS & CBIS

Professional Summary

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Support Engineer (Tier 3) to join an international project. This role focuses on supporting mission-critical cloud infrastructure for a global client in a 100% remote, offshore contract capacity. The successful candidate will work U.S. business hours and collaborate daily with international teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex cloud infrastructure issues within production environments.
• Provide support for and optimize containerized platforms, including Kubernetes, Red Hat OpenShift, and OpenStack.
• Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for high-severity incidents to identify underlying problems.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts primarily using Python and Ansible.
• Serve as a Tier 3 escalation point, committed to ensuring high service availability and customer satisfaction.

Technical Requirements (Must-have)

• Hands-on experience with Nokia Container Services (NCS) and CloudBand Infrastructure Software (CBIS) is essential.
• Strong experience with the following technologies and practices:
  • Kubernetes
  • Red Hat OpenShift
  • OpenStack
  • Linux (specifically Red Hat/CentOS distributions)
  • Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
  • Python and/or Ansible for automation
  • Complex troubleshooting in cloud infrastructure environments
• Proven experience supporting production environments as a Tier 3/L3 Engineer or equivalent.
• Fluent English (spoken and written) is required for daily international collaboration.
