Work from Home Neuroscience Navigation Patient Service Representative (PSR): Acts as the first point of contact via telephone only for patients by providing outpatient department and/or clinic reception. Completes all necessary forms if applicable, obtains demographic, and adds or updates basic patient account information. Schedules new and follow-up patient appointments for our Neuroscience Clinicians which may include, Spine, Neurosurgery, Neurology and Neuro-Oncology. Via telephone greets patients and responds to routine requests for information. Schedule’s patient appointments and coordinates reschedules, and additions to schedules via telephone. Provides accurate, time patient to arrive, and any other directional information needed by patient. Confirm insurance and patient information is complete and accurate. Identifies, reports, and resolves problems regarding registration to appropriate individuals and departments. Monitor’s patient flow to ensure they are cared for in the most efficient and courteous manner.
Scheduled Hours: Full-time 40 hours per week. Monday – Friday 8:30am – 5:00pm or 9:00am to 5:30pm. This work from home position requires no weekends, holidays, or call requirements. Would consider part-time hours.
This position requires you to be on the phone most of your day scheduling patient appointments.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions: Exposed to a normal office environment. May require some travel, so there will be exposure to weather and road conditions. Operates all equipment necessary to perform the job.
