About the role

As an Exercise Physiologist at Kivo Health, you'll lead virtual pulmonary rehabilitation sessions for patients managing COPD and related chronic lung conditions. We work hard, move quickly, and have a lot of fun doing it. The right candidate brings clinical rigor, comfort with remote care delivery, and genuine investment in patient outcomes.

This position is 100% remote, work from anywhere in the U.S.

What you'll do

• Lead engaging virtual pulmonary rehab sessions

• Develop and tailor individualized exercise prescriptions and treatment plans

• Monitor and adjust patient programs based on progress and clinical status

• Educate patients on breathing techniques, energy conservation, and self-care

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support patient outcomes

• Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to program improvement

Who you are

• You work with autonomy in your day-to-day caseload, while team leads, clinical directors, and physicians remain available for guidance and oversight

• You communicate clearly with patients and just as clearly with your care team, translating clinical detail into plain language on one side and precise documentation on the other

• You pick up new tools quickly and don't get rattled when tech hiccups mid-session, you adapt and keep the patient's experience smooth

• Evidence-based practice (ATS/ACSM/AACVPR standards) guides your clinical decisions by default

• You make sound clinical judgment calls even when a situation doesn't match the textbook case

Preferred qualifications

• Degree in Exercise Physiology (clinical track)

• 2+ years of experience in pulmonary or cardiopulmonary rehab (virtual or in-person)

• Current BLS certification

• Willingness to complete AACVPR PR certification (within 3 months) and ACSM-CEP certification (within 6 months)

• Strong communication and technology skills

• Experience with virtual PR, and bilingual English/Spanish, both a plus
