What will you do?

At Clearcover, we lead with a simple principle: Know the Customer, Work for the Customer. As a Claims Representative, Injury, you’ll be on the front lines of that promise — guiding customers through one of the most important and often stressful moments they’ll face. You’ll bring empathy, urgency, and expertise to every interaction, handling bodily injury claims from investigation through resolution while building the kind of trust that turns a difficult experience into a lasting relationship.

  • Guide customers through the claims process with empathy, professionalism, and a genuine sense of urgency
  • Assess auto bodily injury claims to determine the extent of injuries, liability, and coverage
  • Conduct thorough investigations into the circumstances surrounding injury claims, collecting and analyzing evidence, statements, and police reports to establish liability
  • Utilize medical knowledge to evaluate the reasonableness and necessity of medical expenses
  • Address physical damage claims and guide customers through the repair process
  • Engage in negotiations with claimants, legal representatives, and medical professionals to reach fair settlements
  • Manage expense budgets and present claims to committees regarding file strategies
  • Proactively manage your claim inventory, ensuring every file is consistently moving toward resolution
  • Maintain a high standard of customer responsiveness — returning calls, texts, and emails within expected timeframes
  • Address customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives, and follow up to ensure resolution
  • Contribute to process and product information in the team’s Knowledge Base
  • Keep accurate records of customer interactions and file documents
  • Leverage AI-assisted tools to streamline claims documentation, accelerate coverage research, and improve the speed and accuracy of injury evaluations

What do you need?

  • 3+ years of auto bodily injury claims experience
  • Adjuster or P&C insurance license required
  • In-depth knowledge of medical terminology and the injury claims process
  • Intermediate knowledge of the litigation process
  • Demonstrated ability to remain calm and friendly under pressure and resilient to negativity
  • Demonstrated ability to balance the needs of the customer with the needs of the business
  • Excellent writing and grammar skills
  • Strong active listening skills; able to communicate clearly through phone conversations
  • Familiarity with CRM and support systems and practices
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • College degree preferred
  • Comfort using AI-assisted tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot) to improve claims documentation, research, and workflow efficiency preferred

Bonus Points:

  • Auto litigation experience
  • Experience handling non-standard auto insurance (NSA) products
  • Experience working in an insurtech or technology-forward environment
  • Hands-on experience using AI tools to automate claims documentation, summarize medical records, or accelerate file resolution

Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer

Base Compensation Range: $70,000 - $80,000 (USD) annually
