The Civil Engineer will perform quality assurance surveillance, conduct onsite construction inspections, and support design reviews from concept through construction. Additionally, the role involves reviewing contractor cost proposals, change orders, and supporting the development of scopes of work for construction modifications.
Coho Construction Management is seeking an experienced General Civil Engineer. This remote role requires travel and will support Quality Assurance (QA) support activities for a large federal customer. The work would be focused on providing subject matter expertise for the owner in support of a nationwide, design and construction program. The ideal candidate will have five or more years of industry experience as a designer of civil, site improvements combined with some field experience assuring compliance with plans and specifications on federal projects. Existing or recent security clearance a plus but not required.
This is a part-time on-call position. It's an estimated 200 hours of work within six months.
