MAIN PURPOSE
Design, review, and develop high‑quality and practical learning solutions, context-adapted Child & Adolescent Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS).
The consultancy will initially prioritize the development and adaptation of the MSF global digital learning platform (TEMBO) training package and related foundational learning materials, while contributing progressively to the broader Child & Adolescent MHPSS learning offer.
Working in close collaboration with technical advisors and a pedagogical learning officer, the role aims to strengthen field staff competencies and support scalable, operationally relevant implementation of Child & Adolescent MHPSS interventions across MSF contexts.
JOB OVERVIEW
The Child & Adolescent MHPSS SME (Training Development) is a part-time consultancy position (50%) until December 2026, contributing to the development of a structured and operationally relevant learning offer aligned with MSF intersectional guidelines and priorities.
In an initial phase, the consultancy will focus primarily on the review, adaptation, and development of the TEMBO learning package and related training materials, with progressive expansion into additional Child & Adolescent MHPSS learning components over time.
The role focuses on translating technical guidance into practical learning solutions, including self-paced online modules, face-to-face training packages, and Training of Facilitators (ToF) approaches.
Working closely with technical advisors and with pedagogical support from a dedicated learning/pedagogical officer, the consultant will ensure content relevance, pedagogical coherence, and usability across learning modalities. The position contributes to strengthening staff autonomy, quality of care, and scalable implementation of Child & Adolescent MHPSS interventions in humanitarian settings.
