The Permit Coordinator Supervisor oversees permitting operations across multiple branches and jurisdictions, ensuring timely, code-compliant submissions and approvals. This role leads a team of Permit Coordinators, providing daily guidance, coaching, and accountability to meet key performance indicators (KPIs). The Supervisor also manages recruiting, onboarding, and professional development while building standardized processes, training materials, and cross-training programs to support operational excellence.
The position requires strong organizational and analytical skills to monitor permitting metrics, identify inefficiencies, and implement process improvements. Acting as a liaison between internal departments, regional leadership, and local jurisdictions, the Supervisor resolves permitting blockers, supports new product rollouts, and ensures seamless coordination across all permitting functions.

The salary range for this role is $55,000- $70,000. Salary is based experience. The Centralized Permit Supervisor primarily works in an office or remote environment, using computers, phones, and permitting software to manage daily operations. The position requires regular communication with team members, internal departments, and external agencies across multiple states and jurisdictions. This role involves managing multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced setting that demands attention to detail, organization, and effective time management. Standard business hours apply; however, periodic extended hours may be necessary during peak permitting cycles, system updates, or to resolve time-sensitive escalations.
