Position Summary

Kyverna is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Cell Therapy Account Management Specialist to support the launch of our innovative cell therapy approach in autoimmune disease.

The Cell Therapy Account Management Specialist will serve as the commercial account lead for designated treatment centers, academic institutions, community practices, and referral networks within an assigned geography. This individual will drive demand and execute strategic account plans designed to build awareness, facilitate appropriate patient identification and referral, support treatment-center readiness, and drive appropriate adoption of Kyverna's cell therapy owning the performance of the assigned geography.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver against defined sales, account, and performance objectives while maintaining the highest standards of compliance and patient focus.
  • Own the overall commercial strategy, performance, and execution for assigned treatment centers and associated referral networks.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive, account-specific business plans aligned with national and regional commercial priorities.
  • Identify opportunities to increase appropriate patient identification, referral, and treatment within assigned accounts.
  • Analyze account dynamics, referral patterns, patient flows, competitive activity, and market trends to identify opportunities and barriers.
  • Develop deep knowledge of the autoimmune treatment landscape, cell therapy, and Kyverna's clinical and commercial value proposition.
  • Build trusted relationships with key stakeholders across neurology, Hem/Onc cell therapy experts, and other relevant specialties involved in the diagnosis and treatment of autoimmune disease.
  • Navigate complex academic medical centers, integrated delivery networks, community practices, and referral networks.
  • Understand stakeholder needs and identify opportunities to address barriers to appropriate patient identification, referral, access, and treatment.
  • Serve as a knowledgeable and responsive commercial resource for assigned accounts.
  • Identify and map patient referral pathways across autoimmune disease networks.
  • Partner with internal cross-functional teams to identify and address barriers across the patient journey.
  • Support treatment centers and referring networks in understanding the operational requirements associated with cell therapy.
  • Help establish effective relationships and processes between referring physicians and authorized treatment centers.
  • Partner with treatment centers to support readiness for cell therapy, including understanding patient referral, treatment, scheduling, and coordination processes.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the end-to-end cell therapy patient journey and use that knowledge to improve patient experience.
  • Collaborate with Market Access, Patient Services, Operations, and other functions to facilitate a coordinated approach to customer needs.
  • Serve as the commercial "quarterback" across Medical Affairs, Market Access, Patient Services, Clinical, Operations, and other internal partners.
  • Lead account discussions and coordinate internal resources based on account-specific priorities and opportunities.
  • Provide timely insights regarding customer needs, account dynamics, competitive developments, referral trends, and market opportunities.
  • Influence internal resource allocation and prioritization without direct authority.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the evolving autoimmune disease and cell therapy landscape.
  • Identify emerging treatment paradigms, referral trends, competitive dynamics, and changes in the healthcare environment.
  • Translate customer and market insights into actionable recommendations for commercial and cross-functional leadership.
  • Participate in appropriate scientific, industry, and customer forums to strengthen market knowledge and relationships.
  • Execute all activities in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
  • Maintain accurate account plans, customer information, activity documentation, and business intelligence.
  • Demonstrate sound judgment when navigating complex customer and patient-related situations.


Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
  • 7+ years of pharmaceutical, biotechnology, specialty pharmaceutical, or complex healthcare sales/commercial experience.
  • Experience in autoimmune disease, rheumatology, neurology, immunology, rare disease, specialty medicine, or cell therapy.
  • Demonstrated success managing large, complex healthcare accounts with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
  • Experience working with academic medical centers, community practices, integrated delivery networks, or other complex healthcare systems.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute strategic account plans.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and influence key stakeholders across complex organizations.
  • Strong understanding of the patient journey and ability to identify opportunities to improve patient identification, referral, access, and treatment.
  • Experience with cell therapy, CAR-T, or other complex therapies strongly preferred.
  • Launch experience in a specialty, rare disease, autoimmune, or cell therapy environment highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and influence without direct authority.
  • Strong business acumen, analytical capabilities, and strategic planning skills with exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • High level of scientific and technical aptitude with the ability to credibly engage with healthcare professionals.
  • Strong understanding of U.S. healthcare compliance requirements.
  • Ability to travel within assigned territory and nationally as needed with a valid driver's license.
  • Experience with buy-and-bill, reimbursement, specialty pharmacy, or other complex access models.

The national salary range for this position is $180K to $200K USD annually.   The salary range is an estimate of what we reasonably expect to pay for this position, and the actual salary may vary based on various factors, including without limitation individual education, experience, tenure, skills and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.  This position is also eligible for bonus, benefits, and participation in Company’s stock plan.
