Career Advisor / Education Consultant

LSOE Global is an overseas education consultancy supporting students with international university and course selection, applications, admissions, and career planning.

We are hiring 2–3 Career Advisors / Education Consultants based in Bangladesh. This is a remote, flexible role suitable for currently enrolled students or recent graduates with strong English communication skills and an interest in international education.

Successful candidates will communicate with prospective students, understand their academic and career goals, explain suitable study options, follow up with enquiries, and support students throughout the consultation and application process.

Tasks

• Communicate with prospective students through telephone calls, WhatsApp, online meetings, and other communication channels.
• Understand each student’s academic background, interests, career goals, budget, and preferred study destination.
• Provide guidance on suitable universities, courses, study options, and career pathways.
• Respond professionally and promptly to new enquiries provided by the marketing and management teams.
• Build trust and maintain positive relationships with prospective students and their families.
• Follow up consistently with interested students and encourage suitable candidates to begin their applications.
• Guide students through the consultation, document preparation, application, and admission process.
• Coordinate with the admissions team, management team, and other internal team members to keep applications progressing.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of enquiries, consultations, follow-ups, applications, and outcomes.
• Update lead statuses and communication notes in the company’s CRM or lead-management system.
• Attend online training sessions, team meetings, and performance-review meetings.
• Meet individual consultation, follow-up, application, and conversion targets set by management.
• Learn and remain updated on universities, courses, entry requirements, scholarships, application procedures, and relevant deadlines.
• Provide students with accurate information and avoid making unauthorised promises regarding admission, scholarships, visas, or application outcomes.

Requirements

• Educational background from an English-medium institution, or an IELTS Speaking score of 6.5 or above.
• Strong spoken and written English communication skills.
• Confidence communicating with prospective students and their families by telephone and online meeting.
• Genuine interest in international education, student advising, and career guidance.
• Friendly, professional, patient, and able to build trust with students.
• Self-motivated, responsible, reliable, and capable of working remotely.
• Ability to follow up consistently and complete assigned tasks on time.
• Basic computer skills and confidence using email, WhatsApp, Google Workspace, CRM systems, or similar online tools.
• Ability to attend online training and team meetings.
• Prior experience in student counselling, customer service, consulting, telesales, or education services is preferred but not essential.
• Candidates must have a reliable internet connection, a suitable device, and a quiet environment for professional calls and online meetings.
