Business Systems Analyst V

CTG is seeking to fill a Business Systems Analyst V opening for our client.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Serve as functional lead and subject matter expert for complex Workday Benefits projects from proposal through post-implementation.

• Configure, test, troubleshoot, and support Workday Benefits, including complex benefit plans, scaled pricing, voluntary benefits, and pre-/post-tax options; support Workday HCM and other Workday modules as needed.

• Partner with business and technology stakeholders to gather requirements, define functional specifications, evaluate system impacts, and ensure solutions meet business needs.

• Lead project activities, meetings, milestones, estimates, scope, change requests, and cross-functional coordination with business, technology, vendor, and testing teams.

• Develop and execute test plans and cases; coordinate testing, resolve defects, and ensure implementations meet functional and regulatory requirements.

• Support data mapping, system integrations, conversions, acquisitions, and enterprise initiatives by assessing application impacts and documenting required changes.

• Research and analyze complex data and recommend solutions to support application functionality and business objectives.

• Ensure project documentation, processes, technology standards, risk controls, and regulatory requirements are followed.

• Coordinate post-implementation activities, including issue resolution, stakeholder feedback, and project debriefs.

• Provide guidance and mentorship to less experienced staff on application functionality, testing, research, analysis, and project methodology.

Education and Experience Required:

• Workday Benefits module configuration, testing, and troubleshooting experience.

• Workday HCM module configuration, testing, and troubleshooting experience.

• Experience with configuration, testing, and troubleshooting of at least one additional Workday module.

• Minimum of 6 years of combined higher education and/or operational/business analytics experience.

• Strong communication, organization, time management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Proficiency with personal computers and standard business software applications.

Education and Experience Preferred:

• Bachelor's degree.

• Advanced knowledge of Workday applications and integrated systems.

• Experience serving as a subject matter expert on complex enterprise applications and projects.

• Experience with acquisitions, system conversions, integrations, or enterprise transformation initiatives.

• Ability to manage multiple complex projects, present to all levels of management, and work independently or collaboratively.

• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem resolution.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $35.88 - $59.80/hour. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
