Business Systems Analyst – DISA BCFMA

This position is 100% remote; however, applicant must be within 50-mile commuting distance of Chambersburg, PA

Overview:

Business Systems Analyst with ability to learn, and operate within, complex information systems to support labor accounting and execution for a DoD agency.

Applicant must have an Active Secret Security Clearance or be able to secure an Interim Secret clearance.

Essential Job Functions:

• Utilize Oracle Defense Agencies Initiative (DAI) information system to perform a variety of tasks associated with labor accounting and execution
• Assist in the coordination of reorganizations with Human Resources as required
• Provide accuracy checks on pay files and create execution reports and resolve any issues within pre-established parameters
• Maintain a familiarity with the Defense Working Capital Fund and the computing and telecommunications portfolios
• Demonstrate a good working knowledge of Excel and working with spreadsheets
  
• Communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing, to those at all levels of an organization
• Work pro-actively with little to no supervision and collaborate with colleagues located at geographically separate/remote locations
• Coordinate with other organizations to facilitate fiscal year end close-out and new fiscal year start-up
• Support the DISA client by responding in a timely, professional manner to customers encountering functional errors
• Provide coordination and administration of civilian labor, execute contract labor accounting code structures, validate job accounting codes and provide support in the conversion of accounting codes within other proprietary DISA-used systems

Skills: 

• Ability to work proactively with little supervision and collaborate effectively with colleagues located at geographically separate/remote locations
• A comprehensive knowledge of Excel and a working knowledge of Microsoft teams for collaboration
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally to those at all levels of an organization
• Ability to work in a work environment where there are competing priorities and personal organization is vital
